I’m an author pen pal

Author Pen Pals is a wonderful initiative that connects Australian authors and illustrators to Australian schools. I am thrilled this year to be part of the program and to be an Author Pen Pal to a school in Regional NSW that holds a special place in my heart, as it was where I once went to school.

For me, when I was at school, books offered so many things - an adventure, a opening to new worlds full of possibility and a safe space I could retreat to when the playground felt just that bit too busy.

I look forward to sharing my love of all things reading and writing with the students.
